The final standings for the summer series have now been posted and you should be able to work out your ranking for the Brits. Shirts and plates will be given at registration which is from 10am until 1pm on Saturday 18th September. Here is a link to the weekend's schedule.http://new.britishcycling.org.uk/bmx/article/bmx20100721--2010-British-BMX-Championships-0 It will be difficult to better last year's outstanding performance when 10 of our riders won an 01 plate and the North was top region! But a little northern grit can work wonders and we've got it in spades. So bring the black and white bunting and balloons, dress up, take part in the parade (if able!) bring something to MAKE SOME NOISE!!!!! and show all the other regions how proud we are of our riders. We might even win Best Supported Region this time, we were only 2 points off last year! Above all, have great time and good luck to all our riders. |

There will be no north region winter series this year. An early start to the summer series 2011 means that we wouldn't be able to fit 8 regionals in even if the weather was kind to us. Cheer up though, because Mid Lancs and Preston are running their club series so that's 2 Sundays a month with somewhere to race. Clubs are encouraged to take advantage of the break to develop coaching and novice racing, which will help to build up club funds and attract even more riders into our ever growing region.There is also talk of clubs organising inter club racing. Your club secretary should have details after the Brits. |

These are the final results for the series, and I expect we are all ready for
the Brits in a few weeks.
